WHY TAKE EXAMS?

The exam is an opportunity for students to receive an external and professional assessment regarding their artistic work. It provides the student with the invaluable experience of preparing a repertoire in order to play with confidence. A valuable certification, recognised and accredited by music schools and universities world wide. The possibility for a future career in music by obtaining internationally-recognised qualifications in teaching, performance, direction or composition.

For the students that decide to take on exams, there are two internationally recognized schools to choose from (under the guidance and supervision of the teacher): the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London. Both of these schools offer a valid and multifaceted approach in perfecting instrumental performance, oral awareness, sight reading and general music knowledge. Exams are conducted before examiners in designated examination centers world-wide.

ABRSM and Trinity College examinations are recognised at University level and are accepted as accreditation throughout Europe and the rest of the world.
