Blanca Maris teaches singing and kids music awareness classes at the Shine Music School in Barcelona.

Born in Italy to a Chilean mother, Blanca has been immersed in a rich variety of world music since childhood. She began studying piano at the age of six, later expanding her musical journey through singing and guitar, exploring a wide range of genres and styles.

Over the course of her training, Blanca had the privilege of studying with esteemed maestros Miguel Curti and Giulia Matteucci in Italy, experiences that helped her build a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of music. In Barcelona, she furthered her studies in jazz and flamenco singing at the Taller de Músics.

Blanca has experience teaching both children and adults—offering music awareness classes to the former and voice lessons to the latter. As a performer, she has appeared in diverse settings, from solo concerts to collaborations with bands and ensembles, engaging with genres such as jazz, pop, and folk.

As a teacher, her focus is on helping students connect with music in a genuine and personal way, encouraging them to enjoy the learning process while developing their unique musical voice. For Blanca, music is not only an artistic outlet but also a powerful means of emotional expression and human connection.
