Damián Lois is a talented and dedicated music instructor specializing in flute and electric bass at Shine Music School in Barcelona.
He holds a degree in Transverse Flute from Argentina’s prestigious National University of the Arts, where he studied under renowned mentors like Oscar Piluso and Fabio Mazzitelli. Simultaneously, he honed his skills in electric bass guitar at the SADEM Popular Music School, learning from celebrated musicians Josengo Froján and Daniel Maza. These experiences equipped him to perform as a versatile bassist across a wide array of genres.
Damián’s musical journey is exceptionally diverse, spanning jazz, flamenco, rock, and classical music. He has collaborated with notable artists, including Flor Albarracín, César Pavón, and Raúl Jiménez, and served as a solo flutist with the Orquesta del Centro. He has also been a pivotal member and leader in ensembles like Juan Pluma y los Cinema, Paula y los Pájaros, and Tanger, contributing to several albums. His career includes global performances on cruise ships, and he has composed original music for theater and dance productions.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Damián views teaching as a meaningful way to share his passion for music. He believes in a reciprocal exchange of knowledge, where both teacher and student inspire and learn from each other, creating a dynamic and enriching learning experience. For him, teaching is an ongoing journey of mutual discovery and growth.
